WINNER OF THE 417HOME “DESIGN OF THE YEAR: 2009”

Formerly a traditional dining room with painted wainscoting and nondescript chandelier, this room has transformed into an elegant, contemporary space.

Metallic wallpaper serves as a dynamic backdrop to the large, round Kravet table. The slipper chairs are covered in Duralee Dahlia fabric. Teal silk velvet drapery panels outline medallion-patterned sheers.

The Arteriors chandelier brings height and elegance to the room and the silver shades are lined in teal.

An avant garde art installation of wall sculpture within an open frame is dramatic, over-scale, and a unique statement to this contemporary room.
