LOVIN’ IT: Splashes of Union Jack

Is it just me? It seems like everywhere I turn I’m seeing Union Jack accessories, and I have to say, I’m digging it! A great way to rock up a room, it was featured in my blog post on kids’ bedrooms back in October, although the rug shown was basic black & white. I’m thinking there will have to be some of this iconic flag in my new office!

Union Jack Framed Mini Flag by Restoration Hardware — Part of a collection of framed miniature flags, Restoration Hardware has nailed it! The grouping is awesome, but this one can stand alone. From $125.

Union Jack Bedding by Dunelm Mill (UK) — It kind-of goes without saying that the British would want to get this right, but how fun would this be for a boy's room! Granted, I feel that this display has a little TOO much of the good ol' Union Jack, but I'd put the duvet on a bed all by itself...then air guitar to some Rolling Stones. Union Jack Pieced Pillows by Obelisk Home — Keeping it local, my fav store here in Springfield has a great little pieced pillow. It just screams "BUY ME" every time I'm there. Yes, this is a phone picture <natch>...welcome to my world. Available at Obelisk Home for $129.
