This bathroom was original designed all backward—the closet was huge, and the bathroom was skinny and dark.
We totally gutted the combined space and flip-flopped the space. Now the bathroom is a spacious, marble-tiled spa retreat. A large, sculptured stone soaker tub is the focal point of the space. The closet, nearly 3x the size of the original, features LED lighting along the entire niche—highlighting the marble penny tiles. A heated towel rack is at the end of the open concept shower and a large glass wall allows tons of light.
The double vanity has huge framed mirrors hung on the same marble penny tile as the shower niche and floor. Pendant lights flank the mirrors. Marble-look quartz, new Delta fixtures, and crystal inlaid pulls also give the luxury look. The top center drawer also features a heat resistant base and appliance plug in.
All lighting is on dimmers, including the stunning chandelier over the tub, LED lights in the shower and closet. A full-length LED-integrated mirror is perfect for the dressing area. Plus, the heated flooring keeps this fully-tiled bathroom warm.
The water closet now features a bidet seat and dark heather purple walls. Pocket doors eliminate the swing barriers.
In the closet, we included a closet system to make the best use of space, including pull-downs for the tall ceilings, drawers, and a jewelry armoire.
